Trigger Warning – For unit 2 I made a horror make up tutorial. Even though it is all done with face paints and fake blood, some of the images are very gory.
Unit 1: Part A
This section includes a reflection on my strengths and the skills I want to develop in art. This is where you can find details of the challenge I have set and why I chose it. I chose to create a horror movie trailer to learn more about filming, editing and directing.
Unit 1: Part B
This section shows my progress with the project. This is also where you can see the how I made the movie trailer, the final results, feedback from others, and my evaluation of the project.
Unit 1: Part C
My movie had themes of race, slavery, and ancestors. In order to explore these themes more and get inspiration for the movie, I visited the Kara Walker exhibition at the Tate Modeern. You can see my review of this event here.
Unit 1: Part D
I wasn’t able to complete Unit 1 Part D because of the school closures.
Unit 2: Part A
For Unit 2 I decided to create a horror makeup tutorial because I wanted to learn how to use makeup and also because it would help others get interested in this topic. WARNING – SOME OF THE PICTURES ARE GORY
